She has 26 years of teaching experience. Her research interests are in computer vision, wavelet based image analysis, bio medical image processing and pattern recognition schemes. She has published 30 papers in International Journals and presented 200 papers in International and National conferences. S he is a Life Member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) and Fellow member of Institution o f Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) and Member in IEEE.
